David was prompt, efficient and respectful. We had lots of 'bitty' things done... indoor lighting, garden lighting, water feature, new sockets etc. The initial estimate was clear and specific about each aspect. The work itself achieved everything we wanted, and the couple of small glitches were dealt with immediately. Everything was completed to a high standard. David tidied everything before he left... if it hadn't been for the fact that now we had lovely new lights and extra electrical delights, you would not know he had been. We would 100% trust David with further work in the future.

This is the second time we’ve used ABH and David was brilliant. He carries out the work in a way that was so helpful, working around us as we needed power for the internet whilst working from home. David is really thorough and talks you through everything and all your options, makes sure you know how everything works and is always happy to go above and beyond with finishing touches like making sure we were happy with the angle of the cameras and helping set up apps. He is so tidy as well, using carpet covers and hoovering. He supplies certificates for all work as well. I highly recommend ABH!

Fault finding & circuit board replacement

David has been fantastic start to finish. We first reached out to help identify a fault which turned out to be quite dangerous. David identified and fixed the issue very quickly and made a few recommendations on improving the safety of our electrics while on-site. He's very courteous, always on-time and takes the time to do the job properly. Having seen him work I have full confidence in his competence and capability. He's clearly very knowledgeable about his craft.

David was absolutely excellent, I would recommend him to anyone. Being young first time buyers who (perhaps naively) bought a fixer upper, we’ve found that most tradespeople either take advantage of our inexperience or patronise us, or don’t explain what they’re doing at all. David was great, so friendly and approachable, reliable and upfront. He thoroughly explained each area of our EIC and what he did with the replacement consumer unit along the way, and made sure we understood. David turned up on time to the dot and did some great work, we’ll be asking him to come back again.

David was very friendly and knowledgeable - he made contact very quickly and was able to visit to provide a quote the next day. Once the work was agreed (at a very reasonable price compared with some of the other quotes I recorded), he arranged a suitable date that suited us around other work we were having done in our garden. David arrived promptly, kept us updated throughout the day to ensure he was doing exactly what we wanted in the right place and finished in record time. Would definitely recommend and will use again for any future electrical work.

Electric Cooker Installation

I put a job out for a electric cooker to be hard wired in. First time using Checkatrade. David was quick in the response, communication from then onwards was on point. Pricing was decent compared to what others and the retailers own offers were to install. Was arranged promptly. Timing spot on. Got the job done and did a certificate for the minor works, checked the wiring and everything to ensure it was all safe. Can't fault the service and professionalism. Also as an added bonus, had a card machine so didn't have to make a trip to get cash. Any future work, will definitely be first choice.

Dave was everything you would wish for in an electrician and more. He came and looked at what we wanted done to begin with, talked it through with us and different options. When a date was decided we have plenty of notice to get out side in order (which is was not quite). He arrived and got one with the job in hand whilst working around us. We asked for a few changes just before he started the work and there were no issues with this. Will definitely use again and will recommend to other people. We cannot sing his praises loudly enough to be honest.

Great communication and every effort was made to ensure our cooker was wired asap at a great price. ABH electrical kept in contact from the moment of purchase and assured us of a smooth fitting, to arriving to do the work at the exact time the cooker turned up at our property! Faultless. Electrical reports for a multi landlord

My 5 yearly Electrical conditioning reports were due on my properties and I employed ABH Electrical to carry them out along with any remedial work required. Electrical Installation Condition Report and future works

David was incredibly generous with his time and expertise. My house is very old and has a lot of issues and he suggested we do an EICR report initially to determine exactly what the issues were. He talked me through everything that is required to remedy the issues while doing the report and answered many questions very patiently. We now have a plan for future works that he will be carrying out for me in December and I feel very reassured. I'm also immunocompromised and David was very happy to wear a mask throughout the 2 hours he was here which was greatly appreciated.

No deposits are usually needed, however in some circumstances a deposit may be required. If a deposit is required you will be informed when scheduling in the work.
No quotations are free. Some quotations can be given from answering a few short questions, a facetime call or a scheduled visit.
